The School of Management of Xi’an Jiaotong University hosted the 2023 opening ceremony for joint Master of Science Program in Entrepreneurship and Innovation (Big Data and Artificial Intelligence Management) between XJTU and SKEMA Business School on September 15 in Xi’an. Ma Xiaobin, Secretary of the School of Management Party Committee, Liu Wenfeng, Director of Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges, Zhang Yan, Associate Director of Department of Continuing Education, Tian Gaoliang, Associate Dean of the School of Management, and Patrice Houdayer, Vice President of SKEMA Business School, Matthieu Dumont, Director of SKEMA Suzhou Campus, Nicolas Servel, Director of the MSc Entrepreneurship & Innovation Program of SKEMA, XU Liang, Academic Director of the Joint Program in China, represented Xi’an Jiaotong University and SKEMA Business School respectively, attended the ceremony and delivered speeches to celebrate the exhilarating brand new study journey for the fourth cohort of the joint MSc program students. The opening ceremony was hosted by Professor Shu Chengli, Assistant Dean of the School of Management and Director of the Center for International Programs.

In 2020, the Joint Master of Science Program in Entrepreneurship and Innovation (Big Data and Artificial Management) between Xi’an Jiaotong University and SKEMA Business School was officially approved by the Ministry of Education of China. So far, the total number of students that this program nurtured amounts to 240, out of which 117 students have successfully completed their studies and obtained their master's degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from SKEMA Business School. The program was awarded the honor of “Outstanding Chinese-Foreign Cooperation Program in Shaanxi Province for 2022”.

With distinctive interdisciplinary and international characteristics, the program is dedicated to cultivating entrepreneurship and innovation talents in the field of big data and artificial intelligence. The graduates will possess a profound theoretical foundation and hands-on practical skills, as well as a in-depth understanding of multiculturalism, exceptional adaptability, and entrepreneurial spirit.
