Research interests:

Industrial Big Data Analytics, Statistical Machine Learning, Quality Engineering and Management.

Modern manufacturing and service industries have embarked on the era of big data, wherein the data-driven decision making to achieve intelligent manufacturing remains a significant emerging research topic. I have focused on the smart Quality Prediction, Control and Improvement based on the industrial big data. Through the integration of industrial background knowledge and statistical machine learning techniques, I have developed a series of Knowledge-Fused Data-Driven Quality Management methodologies, especially for the current high-dimensional small sample size production paradigm.

I have authored over 10 articles which have been published in many high-level prestigious journals such as IISE Transactions, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, IEEE Transactions on Automation Science and Engineering, International Journal of Production Research, and have been the PI of National Natural Science Foundation of China (Youth Science Fund Project) and China Postdoctoral Science Foundation (General Project).
