Zhifeng Yang教授简介：

Zhifeng Yang is a professor in The State University of New York at Stony Brook, he is an associate editor of China Journal of Accounting Research and he is a member of the editorial board of China Journal of Accounting Studies. He has published many papers in top journals, such as The Accounting Review, Journal of Accounting Research, Journal of Accounting and Economics, Contemporary Accounting Research, Review of Accounting Studies, etc.

讲座内容：

工伤事故给企业、职工家庭和整个社会都带来很大代价，是影响企业社会责任业绩的重要因素。现有会计和财务文献主要研究公司的资源和业绩压力对工伤事故发生率的影响。本文研究公司内部治理、也就是总部对工厂的监督与指导，对工厂工伤事故的影响。我们发现当总部到工厂的旅行时间缩短之后，工厂的事故发生率就会显著下降。这是因为当总部管理人员能更方便快捷地到工厂后，他们可以获取更多有关工厂状况的信息，从而加强总部对工厂的治理。具体地说，当总部对工厂实际情况了解更多之后，总部能够及时监督指导工厂人员进行安全生产、适当调配资源以加大对工厂生产安全方面的投资以及根据工厂实际情况来设立合理的业绩要求，从而降低了工厂的工伤事故发生率。
